Our sitters are employed, not contracted, to maintain consistent service availability for our clients and it is our goal to have the same sitter for as much of a trip as possible. However, it’s usually between 1-2 sitters visiting depending on the length of a trip, since our staff have set schedules each week. We do utilize a central database to maintain all communications between the team and management is available 7 days a week to ensure that care is provided consistently for each client.
My cat needs medications, is that something you do?
We understand that medications are needed at times and are happy to help to the best of our ability. Since we are not vet techs, we have some limitations with medications that can’t be administered in food. If you contact us, we could talk further to see if we’re able to accommodate your pet’s medical situation.
Do you take last-minute appointments
Although we cannot guarantee that we’ll have availability, we have a pretty good track record for accepting appointments, even on the same day. Also, with the addition of our new online booking system, we give clients the opportunity to view our availability and book service with just 24-hours prior notice. If service is ever needed with less than 24-hours notice, we simply ask to be contacted via telephone.
What is the process to start pet sitting service?
Before service is started, we typically set up an orientation, in which one of our associates will meet with you at your home to discuss your cat(s) care routine as well as collect any necessary information such as an emergency contact and/or veterinarian information. This brief “meet and greet” allows us to make sure all details are discussed prior to starting service for the first time. There is no charge for an orientation and we can also collect keys at this time.
